While reading the nhra roll cage rules, we noticed that our car would have to meet the convertible rules since it has T-tops.  So the logical next thought
was: "Then why do we need the roof?"  The answer of course is: "We don't!"  It's just extra weight up high and who doesn't want a convertible in Florida
anyway....

After cutting off the T-top ledge, we were surprised with how many layers of sheet metal are in the
A-pillars  These were later welded together to regain the stiffness in this area.
Holes in the floor after removing the largest areas of rust.
