These videos are from the 2007 NASA Championships at Mid-Ohio. I won TTE with a time of 1:41.739
I took a few of my fastest laps because each of them has parts I like.
I was cautious in Turn 1 because it was the first lap of the session, but I am very happy with the rest of the lap. This probably would have been my best with a more aggressive run through Turn 1: 1:41.960

This is my fastest lap of the weekend. 1:41.739

This was my only close call of the weekend. I turned into the corner at the end of the back straight and the back end came around on me quickly. I was able to get it back under control and continue. Somehow this seemed to take a lot longer at the time: Save

On this one I slowed down a little too much for the Keyhole, but the rest is pretty good: 1:41.953

These Videos are from the August NASA event at MidOhio. There was a great turnout in general and 9 cars in TTE!
This was a pretty good lap in the wet,
other than the straight where I backed
off to stay back from the MX-6. My
best wet lap was 2:18.

I thought it was interesting to see the
difference in power between our cars,
but relatively close cornering speeds.
Check out the cool fireball going
through Thunder Valley.
Following an EVO
These Videos are from the July NASA event at MidOhio. There was a great turnout in general and 8 cars in TTE!
This was my best lap of the
weekend. I lifted a little in Thunder
Valley as I was catching the Miatas:
Mid Ohio - 1:45.0
This was a 1:45.3 with my girlfriend in
the car and a lot of sliding. The tires
were starting to go away on Sunday.
Mid Ohio - 1:45.3
This video is from the NASA weekend at Grattan Raceway in Michigan. This was a great track with plenty of elevation
changes and blind corners. This is a nice clean lap so you can see the track:
These are videos from the Winged Warrior 3 Autocross. What a great course! There were a lot of elevation changes and
high speed slaloms along with tight off-camber corners. Awesome!
This should have been my best run, but I got into ice mode when I'm pretty
sure I got all 4 wheels off the ground going into the 180 degree corner in
the middle of the course. Then I pushed too hard at the end because I was
using the free run to find the limit of the car in those sections.
This was my best run at 1:01.6
These videos are from the NASA National Championships. I had so much fun there running with a great group of guys in TTE
and wound up winning the TTE class with a time of 1:48.1
This was a fun lap.
This was my best lap of the weekend. I
guess pushing to catch the Mustang
must have helped me out.
These videos are from a NASA weekend at MidOhio. My Protege runs in TTE which is one of the slower Time Trial Classes.
I was extremely happy with the car and wound up winning the class. The car was built as shown on the main page and running
Kumho V710 race tires.
This is a video of a pretty good lap for
my car at MidOhio. 1:50 Lap Time I
had a 1:49.5 but didn't have the
camera on for that session.
This is a short video showing what its
like to get passed by car running 20
seconds per lap faster than you.
Listen to the Turbo on the EVO!
Having some fun on a lap with some
traffic
These videos are from a NASA weekend at Summit Point August 26 & 27. This was my first time at Summit Point and it was a lot
of fun. The track is a lot bumpier and slicker than any other tracks on which I've driven. The car was built as shown on the
main page and running on the Hankook street tires.
In this one I didn't let the car settle enough
before turning after hitting the brakes
(which I wasn't supposed to be doing
anyway) and got my heart-rate up a little.
This is an early lap from my first session
on Saturday. I had an instructor ride with
me so I could learn the track. I think he
handled my screw up really well.
This is a pretty good lap for me. I
see a ton of mistakes, so I guess I
better go back sometime....
Video from an OVR autocross. My new wheels and race tires didn't fit in the rear so I ran Race tires in the front and
street tires in the rear. Not a good idea for times but a whole lot of fun. This run I hit a cone between turns 2 and 3
so I decided to have fun for the rest of the run.
Videos from the NASA event at Putnam Park in May. I was running in HPDE3 with basically stock car and street tires.
This was my fastest lap: 1:32.1
These Videos are from the NASA event at Grattan Raceway in June 2008
The right rear brake had been locking up all weekend so I was used to that. I think what happened here was my let tires must have been wet from the puddle at the track-out point of turn 2 so I locked up both rear tires and went around. The drop-off in that corner made it impossible to catch once I started going around.
